Notification preferences live in your profile and control the alerts you receive.

There are two kinds. Push Notifications · This device and the Channels settings save immediately — device push covers this phone, channels cover all your devices. Event and form preferences need Save changes.

Before editing events, pick a scope: For me covers notifications about you, Organisation covers the wider ones your role allows. Neither gives you notifications your role cannot receive.

Step 1
Open your preferences
Tap Menu, then your name. Scroll to NOTIFICATIONS and NOTIFICATION PREFERENCES.
Step 2
Know which control does what
Push Notifications · This device covers this phone. Under Channels, Email and Push cover all your devices, and save immediately. This walkthrough explains them without changing them. Your phone's own notification permission still applies.
Step 3
Choose the scope
Select For me or Organisation. This changes your own preferences within that scope — it does not change anyone else's. Check the scope before you edit.
Step 4
Change one event's channel
Open Forms, find Form Response Approved and change its In-app pill. Read the event name beside the control — the first pill you see is not necessarily the event you want.
Step 5
Exclude one form
Expand Form Response Submitted. Where a checklist is available, untick Incident Report to stop alerts for that form while keeping the rest. If no choices appear, your administrator has not configured that filter.
Step 6
Save and check
Tap Save changes and wait for it to succeed, then leave and reopen the same scope to check both choices. If Unsaved changes is still showing, it has not saved.
Step 7
Other ways in
Channel toggles save immediately and apply across your devices; device push applies to one phone. Some notifications are governed by your role rather than these preferences, and will not appear here at all.
