Accepting a pending shift confirms you will work it. Check the date, times, client and location before you do.
This walkthrough uses Shifts and the shift detail screen. The dashboard has an Accept button too, but it accepts straight away with no prompt, so check the details first.
If the shift is missing, is no longer pending, or its details are wrong, talk to your coordinator rather than assuming it is sorted.
Step 1
Find the pending shift
Open Shifts and find the assignment on its scheduled day. The Pending counter at the top tells you how many are waiting on a response.
Step 2
Check the details
Open the assignment and check the date, start and end times, client and location. If something is wrong, contact your coordinator.
Step 3
Accept and confirm
Tap Accept, read the confirmation prompt, and confirm only if you intend to work it.
Step 4
Check it went through
The assignment should now show Confirmed — a card still showing Pending has not been accepted. Accepting is not clocking in; see Clock in to a shift.
