Clocking out records when you actually finished — not the scheduled end.
You need an assignment with a recorded start and an available clock-out control. This follows Clock in to a shift.
Finishing before the scheduled end changes the button to Early Clock Out. Finishing away from the scheduled end, or changing the time, asks you for a reason.
Step 1
Open the shift
In Shifts, open the assignment you have been working. Check the client, date and recorded Start Time first.
Step 2
Check the finish time
Tap Clock Out — it says Early Clock Out if you are finishing before the scheduled end. The sheet opens on your scheduled end, under You'll clock out at. If you finished at another time, tap Finishing at a different time? and set the real date and time.
Step 3
Say why, if asked
Pick the reason that fits what happened and add any detail it needs. Forgetting to clock out is not the same as working past the scheduled finish, and a reason does not replace an accurate end time.
Step 4
Save and check
Tap Clock Out on the sheet, then check the new End Time in Timesheets and that the shift is no longer in progress. A Start Time on its own does not mean the clock-out saved. To fix a wrong value, see Edit recorded shift times.
