Ask the assistant on your phone

Ask a practical question, check a linked source, and reopen a saved conversation.

Mobile app

The assistant opens from its floating button, on the screens where it appears. This walkthrough asks a clock-in question, checks the guide behind the answer, and comes back to it through History.

AI answers can be incomplete or wrong. Open the linked source and check it before you act.

Saved conversations can be deleted, so History is not a permanent archive.

  1. Step 1

    Open the assistant

Tap the floating chat button — or, if it is tucked against the screen edge, the arrow. This example types its question rather than using voice. If the button is not there, go back to a screen that supports it and check your feature access.

  2. Step 2

    Choose a source, or don't

Open Auto to see the other sources — Documents, Forms and Clients. Leave Auto selected here. Narrowing the source focuses the question; it does not make the answer correct.

  3. Step 3

    Ask and wait

Type your question and send it, then wait for the assistant's reply — your own message appearing is not the answer. If it fails, check your connection before retrying.

  4. Step 4

    Check the linked guide

Open the guide the answer links to and read the relevant part. Check it supports the answer and applies to what you are doing. If there is no usable source, go to the guide directly or ask your coordinator.

  5. Step 5

    Come back to it later

Opening the assistant again starts a fresh conversation (inside one, New Chat does the same). Open History and select the earlier conversation. Only saved conversations appear there — deleted ones are not recoverable. Drafting a form this way is covered in Fill a form via AI chat.
